This Week with Beer, January 19-22

I’m posting this on the day before the Bears’ divisional play-off against the Rams on Sunday. Will we have yet another weekend of football? Oh, I’ll update it here, of course. Til then, there’s a college football championship on Monday.

Meantime, there was a post on Reddit’s Chicago Beer subreddit claiming that the former Temperance Brewing space in Evanston will be taken over by Saint Errant Brewing. The Chicago-based nano has been popping out limited releases and contract brews since at least 2017. No official confirmation or an opening date, but the Illinois Brewers Guild site already shows Saint Errant at Temperance’s old address of 2000 Dempster Street.
