World Cup
Monday is the bid day for this schedule, because it’s “Win or Stay Home” for the USMNT in the World Cup’s Round of 16. I’m still looking for places that will be showing the match.
Since many of these places are normally closed on Mondays, I have needed to confirm at they will be having special hours, or will be open late for the match that starts at 7 PM. But some of these don’t announce their plans until like 4 hours beforehand. So I’ll keep adding events as they pop up.
Anchor Brewing
Another possible sign of the return of Anchor Brewing to beer production.

KQED has confirmed that the San Francisco brewer has received approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for two new labels. One, for the original Anchor Steam beer and another for their Old Foghorn Barley Wine, The labels were redesigned by the original artist Jim Stitt.
The return to the original label style followed an attempt to simplify their branding for a shift from bottles to cans. While the rebrand came two years before Anchor shut down in 2023, the Trump-addled New York Posts claims Anchor failed solely because of their “woke” labels.
The brewery had been purchased by Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya, who promised to revive brewing operations. Though there has been no public announcement yet, workers have been spotted in the brew works,.In June, Ulukaya posted an Instagram picture of himself watching the World Cup from the Anchor tap room.
