Hey, I’m still recovering from my broken hand. Still in a cast, so not east to keep in a good typing position. So things are coming in a little slowly. But once I’m done with this,I’ll be setting up previews for Back Wednesday and Black Friday.
One more reminder for Festival of Barrel-Aged Beers. That’s November 13 and 14 at Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 S. Racine Ave. Hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, FoBAB brings together over 250 barrel-aged beers, meads and ciders from around the U.S. If you need a break from heavy barrel-aged stuff, there’s the 2nd floor Lager Lounge, with lighter pours from local brewers.
Sessions are Friday from 6 to 10 pm, or Sunday from 1 to 5 pm, with one hour early entrance for IMBIBE members. Tickets start at $98.14 (Universe.com).
