How appropriate to release Illumous 4 as we celebrate 4 years of Gnosis! Illumous 4 hides behind nothing. It’s simply a testament to what 24 months of maturing in a Four Roses Bourbon barrel can do. Over those two years, this chocolatey single-barrel stout base lost 25% of its volume to evaporation, resulting in a naturally viscous body and complex depth of flavor. The aromas from the glass emanate notes of cherry, butterscotch, dry cacao chocolate laced with plentiful musty oak and bourbon. The entry palate is smooth and creamy with a soft start that fades quickly to a refined ethanol-laden bourbon barrel finish. While not overly sweet, the palate lingers with caramel, dark fruit, baking spice and chocolate covered espresso beans.
We decided to debut this release in a new format of single 12oz. Cans. This offers a more cost-effective way of delivering this luscious liquid while maintaining shelf stability for years to come. We look forward to celebrating with you and raising a glass to taste what might be our greatest non-adjuncted BA stout release yet!

The FREE Tinley Park Ale Trail Trolleys are returning for another year of fun! Come out from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays starting June 3rd through Aug. 26th and hop on one of two trolleys that will be making the rounds at Banging Gavel, SIP Wine Bar, Flipside Brewing, Hailstorm Brewing Co., Soundgrowler. and Hillgrove Tap.
The route is continuous, so you can hop on or off at any stop along the way! Trolleys will arrive at each stop about every 30 minutes, and both trolleys are ADA-compliant. A real-time GPS map will be available on the Village website showing the current location of each trolley. Please note that these maps will only be live while the trolleys are running.
