We’ve been busy in the kitchen experimenting with the best way to showcase these two beautiful adjuncts and the depth of flavor they add to unique barrels.
Coconut is one we’re familiar with, with its ability to impart a candied brown sugar sweetness and enhancing viscosity.
Wild Thai Banana is similar in these ways, but together and in the presence of bourbon or rye, the two create an adjunct profile similar to that of bananas foster with varying levels of brown sugar sweetness and a touch of mixed baking spices.
Because of the delicate flavors that Wild Thai Banana has, we suggest that this one be kept and served cold to fully preserve all that goodness and to experience the flavors as they open up.
