What to Expect:
Bring your friends and dive into the micro-world of live moss! No experience needed! You’ll get step-by-step instruction from a local plant expert, explore ways we're all connected, and you'll create your own miniature garden, perfect for any desk, counter, or bookshelf!
This is more than just a plant workshop—it’s a chance to slow down, reconnect with your hands, and experience a bit of calm in a busy world. Many participants say the process is soothing, grounding, and a much-needed break for their nervous system.
What you'll take home:
Every participant will get the choice between making one medium-sized mossarium or two mini or micro-mossariums.
Coming with a date? You can both create your own medium sized mossariums independently, or work together to build one large desktop mossarium plus a single mini mossarium.
What the Heck is a Mossarium?
Similar to a terrarium, mossariums exclusively feature live moss. You'll select from a variety of specimens and learn everything to keep this micro-ecosystem thriving for YEARS to come.
It’s the perfect blend of nature, design, and meditative craft.
