Dovetail Brewery, 1800 W. Belle Plaine Ave., Chicago (773) 683-1414 🗺️
With the World Cup coming to North America this year, we wanted to use the tournament as an excuse to explore some of the global traditions that make beer culture so special. Throughout the tournament (sorry, no TVs at Dovetail -- but we're just a short stroll to the Globe, and a longer walk to AJ Hudson's), we'll be highlighting countries competing in the World Cup through their unique beer traditions, drinking customs, and beer-friendly foods.Tonight, we'll feature the Mexican beer service tradition of Micheladas -- which we'll pour with Dovetail Helles and Michelada mix and chamoys from Pinches Miches. Los Gorditos will also be rolling up!
Each evening will showcase a different beer service tradition alongside a food pop-up and complementary programming, including language cafés:
June 18: Mexico 🇲🇽 - Micheladas
June 25: Korea 🇰🇷 - Chimaek
July 2: Japan 🇯🇵 - Sharp Pours & Matcha Beers
July 9: Germany 🇩🇪 - Diesels
July 16: USA 🇺🇸 - American Kegger

Revolution Brewery Tap Room, 3340 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago (773) 588-CANS 🗺️
Come join us for the Chicago Language Cafe meetup at Revolution Brewing on Kedzie! You can make some new friends and practice speaking a language that you are learning or already know. There will be a table for each language represented. Feel free to move around to different tables if you speak multiple languages! We generally have English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Italian and ASL tables.
Let us know if you’re interested in other languages. We will have flags you can borrow to signify languages that don’t currently have a designated table. This will help you to find some other folks who are looking to learn/teach the same!
Please stick to speaking the language of the table. For example, avoid having a lengthy conversation in English at the Spanish table. Of course, it is always okay to clarify things in English, but in the spirit of the event, try to avoid speaking it as much as possible unless you are at the English table.
If you don’t speak any other languages but are still interested in joining us, come help others improve their English! We have people from all over the world who come to practice their English, and they always appreciate having a native speaker to help them.
This is a casual, social meetup with a large number of attendees. You will have the opportunity to practice speaking other languages and meet people from all different cultures and backgrounds, but if you are looking for a quiet, intimate conversational group, you may want to look elsewhere. Translation: Our meetups can get noisy and crowded (and fun!)
Meets on the first and third Thursday of each month! More information can be found on our Meetup.

For those of you that like the idea of games at the bar, but hate the idea of thinking too much, come hang out and drink with your friends while Stephanie hosts Music Bingo – and win prizes!
Music Bingo is very similar to traditional bingo, except we will be playing clips of songs rather than reading off letters & numbers. The music ranges from the 1950's all the way to today's top hits, including fun themed rounds (80's rock, 90's hits, One Hit Wonders, and more).
The first person to mark five in a row wins! This isn't "music trivia", so feel free to ask your friends or Shazam to help you with the song titles if needed.
Cellar Door will be taking care of you as well with 10 delicious draft beers, delicious rotating wines by the glass, plus hundreds of bottles of beer and wine to choose from.
Music Bingo is free to play, but pays out real prizes every single game, and every person that attends gets their own set of bingo cards, so the more friends/family you bring, the higher the chance someone will win at your table!
Hosted y Baig of Tricks Entertainment.
