Saturday, Nov 29th, we're celebrating the holidays with the release of our beloved Mistletoe Mustache Christmas Ale, along with a barrel-aged version! We'll also have 4 packs and bottles to go to, the perfect stocking stuffers!
We're also hosting a Holiday Bazaar from 12 to 4 with great vendors such as Wildflower Thrift & Gift, Plot Twist used books, local artists and crafters, bakers, and Billy Bricks, wood-burning pizza oven food truck! We're also super excited to welcome back the Kringle Brothers, a pop-up Christmas Tree stand from 10 AM to 8 PM. We'll be open from 12 to 12, so come and grab a beer and pick out this year's family tree. The trees are freshly cut and last well through the holidays!

In addition to the popup market, the fine folks from Cruelty Free You & Me will be hosting a drop-off for their 6th annual Holiday Gift Drive. Bring an unwrapped, new toy to be gifted to over 300 children in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood (our Chicago home!) this holiday season. Our annual holiday saison is back! Tree Tipper is a saison brewed with spruce tips and local honey from The Hive. We steep the spruce tips in the honey before adding both to the fermenting beer, allowing enzymes in the honey to transform sharp, resinous spruce into flavors that are floral and fruit-forward. A great beer for cold nights and hearty foods.
This year’s release features not only the beloved gin barrel-aged version but also a new limited batch aged in Malört barrels! We will also be selling a limited amount of 2024 gin barrel aged Tree Tipper.
The Hive is going to be hosting a honey tasting during the event and food will be on site from Kite String Cantina . Plus, we’ll have a “Tree Tipper” gift box for sale — packed with beer, honey, swag, and more. Perfect for gifting… or keeping for yourself!
