The cornerstone festival and fundraiser of Illinois Craft Beer Week, Beer Under Glass convenes more than 80 Illinois breweries for an evening outdoors at the acclaimed Millennium Park Harris Theater Rooftop Terrace in downtown Chicago.
Join us Friday, May 9 for the largest gathering of Illinois craft breweries. Soak in the warm weather, sample from among 200 craft beer pours, and enjoy a night of fun that expertly pairs the sights and sounds of Chicago with the notes and flavors that are unique to Illinois-brewed craft beer.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Cory and Karen King, Side Project Brewing was born out of a shared love for fine dining, wine, and craft beer. The couple first met while working at a fine dining restaurant, where their mutual passion for flavor and fermentation began to take shape.
Cory, formerly the head brewer at Perennial Artisan Ales, began brewing and eventually launched Side Project Brewing in St. Louis. Originally focused exclusively on oak-aged beers, Side Project quickly earned a cult following for its nuanced, complex brews. Over time, their offerings expanded to include a broader catalog featuring lagers, IPAs, and more.
After over 10 years of innovation, Side Project remains a cornerstone of the St. Louis craft beer scene, with three locations in the Maplewood neighborhood. In addition to their award-winning beers, guests can enjoy an elevated bar menu curated by Executive Chef Adam Altnether.
We’re thrilled to be one of the few locations to bring Side Project to the Chicago market and to have Cory King hang with us for the celebration! Join us as we welcome their exceptional lineup, available on draft in our Taproom and in package at the Retail Shoppe.
