Beer in Chicago This Week, May 20-23

Open Outcry Brewing has new owners. The Beverly Review reports Jim and Katie Beck took over the brewpub on May 3. The brewery was founded by John Brand, a former stock trader; and new owner Jim Beck had worked the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade, keeping the “Open Outcry” name relevant.

Like any blogger, I’m trying to squeeze in time to improve the site. I have an ongoing project to weed outdated content, and locate photos that were lost when the Trib took ChicagoNow down. And I’ve changed out the sharing links at the top of the page.
