Ravinia Brewing is now seeking support for its Legal Defense Fund. They had opened on the presumption there would be no conflict with the music festival of the same name. They also assumed they could operate just as openly as other businesses in the area with the “Ravinia” name. But now organizers of the Ravinia Festival are suing the brewery for claimed trademark infringement. You can read more details and offer support at Ravinia Brewing’s GoFundMe page.

The brewery had to cancel a scheduled Saturday community garage sale, but later determined they could return to normal operations Saturday afternoon.
